My future as a midwife :)

Hello people! In this blog I tell you about my future as a midwife and the place where I’ll work between other things.

The place where I'll like me work is a town or Santiago, though I prefer a small town, because there is most difficult for the people receive attention in health and for me is very important help to all the people that need my help.

The schedule that I prefer to work is from the morning until the evening, for example from 8:00 A.M until 8:00 P.M, though if I have to work during the night of course that I do it.

I don’t know where work if in the public system or private system, though the public system is very beautiful because you can feel major nearness with the people and I believe that you can help more in the public system that in the private system because the needs of the people are different between the two systems.

The specialization for me is complicated because I don’t know well which one I’m choosing, because I like all the specialization that has the career, although I’m choosing when I go in third or fourth of my career, although I think my possibilities are in the gynaecology or neonatology.

About the position that I’ll reach, I don’t know, only know that up to the moment I'll like me work hardly to improve the public system for that all the people can have to access to the attention in health.

My favorite subject in my career :)

Hello people, today I’m going to talk about my favorite subject.

My favourite subject is Physiology Obstetrics I, because is a subject very important to my career, because there the teachers teach us all the related with the woman and her pregnancy and all the development of the fetus. In the future this subject will serve me in many aspects, for example in the prenatal control and when I have to realize Leopold's manoeuvres for know if the fetus is in cephalic position or in podalic position between other things.

The most interesting contents of this subject are the changes in the woman during the pregnancy in the three trimesters and the development of the fetus during the same time and how these changes between the woman and the fetus are related in all the aspects, and how the changes in the woman are for the better development of the fetus.

The easiest contents in this subject to me are the development in the fetus and all the changes that happens in him, and the most difficult contents was when we had to do a conceptual map about the changes in the first trimester of pregnancy in the woman.
This subject is taught by the midwives of the obstetrics school, so the contents are easier and more practical.

My marks in this subject up to now are good, because I study and I like this subject because is so beautiful and interesting for my career.

The website has many sections, for example: the national directory, the regional advices, the college: his origin and evolution, the professional exercise, the statistical indicators and publications of the college, between other topics that you can find.

The frequency I visit the site depends on many factors, between them the time that I have when I enter to the Internet and the things that I have to do. Though if I could visit the site every day it would do it, but as the time it is scanty for me and of course I can’t visit it with the frequency that to my I would like.
